Pork Tenderloin Easiest Protein to Cook

Pork Tenderloin Easiest Protein to Cook
I love pork especially pork tenderloin it is very easy to prepare and can be dressed up or down to match your needs.  The only prep you must do is to remove the “silver skin”. This a silvery white tissue that will not dissolve when cooked so it must be removed.  To remove use a boning a knife slice under the skin about half inch from one end and gently slide the knife under the skin until the end.  Most pork tenderloins you buy today have very little skin to remove but it’s worth the effort to get it all.  Now all I do is sprinkle olive oil on the pork and rub with dry spices.  I like south west mix or a BBQ dry rub you would use on ribs.  Be adventurous! Let the rub soak in for at least one hour or overnight if you can. Next you can grill the whole tenderloins or sear in a skillet and finish in the oven.  Remove from heat when the internal temperature is 145 deg F wrap in foil and let rest for ~ 10 min. Slice and serve with you favorite sauce.  Next time I’ll share an upscale pork tenderloin dinner recipe we served for 140 guests at a Christmas party.  Keep in touch let me know how you cook pork tenderloins, what rubs or marinades do you use?
